Chapter 2: Tucker Carlson - Super Mensch We’re on a journey to explore Russell Brand’s dalliance with the far right through his videos on the topic of Tucker Carlson. In  Chapter One , through the lens of Russell’s infatuation, we saw how Tucker Carlson had turned his back on corporate media to reveal their role as a tool of the global elite, and we saw how Tucker’s firing from Fox News is yet another precursor to the long-wished-for demise of the Mainstream Media. But we also saw Russell's own surprising descent into a politics of division at odds with his facade of unity and inclusion. Part One, Right Wing. Chapter 1- The Gathering Storm! If we want to change our world, we will need to have new alliances and new conversations! And that will require us to work with people we may not agree with! Just so long as they’re not black. Or not politically progressive. According to Russell Brand, anyway! Welcome, you awakening wonders! And as we join together to travel on this path to a global consciousness and universal harmony, perhaps you are like Russell Brand who is now thinking that some people just aren't worth awakening? You know… “them”; the people who might cause “cultural issues”. Or people with different political beliefs, “progressives”, those kinds of people. To diferentiate ourselves, we can just call those degenerates the unter menschen  and ourselves der uber menschen . Those Germans, they really do have a word for everything! But we should definitely be looking to make new alliances in order to build a society with, erm, all the people that have the same ...

“Conspiracism is fascism’s fuel. Almost all successful conspiracy theories originate with or land with the far right.” So wrote Guardian reporter George Monbiot in his critique  of Russell Brand, published 10th March 2023. And he’s not wrong. But he’s not 100% right, either. Monbiot’s approach downplays both the prevalence and significance of conspiracy theories on the far left. It fails to acknowledge the damage that conspiracism does to the leftist cause. And it ignores the fact that wherever you think Russell Brand lands in the political spectrum today, he was radicalized on the left and by the left. 

 Russell Brand has presented himself as being a socialist, despite being a hoarder of wealth who, by his own definitions, uses that wealth to support the victimization of Palestinians! He has cast his lot in with propagandists and liars while accusing Western media of doing exactly that! And now, while claiming to be anti-war and anti-imperialist, he provides excuses for an authoritarian dictator who has embarked on a genocidal and imperialist war! So, what is up with Russell Brand’s Topsy-Turvy world?

 The Main Stream Media (™) is undoubtedly propagandistic and follows a sinister agenda on account of globalist sponsors (or something). According to Russell, anyway. But can you really trust alternative or new media sources for independent news reporting? Take a leaf out of Russell’s book and carefully vet your media sources for bias, and then select only the most biased ones available!

The New Statesman may be lamenting the passing of Russell Brand’s status as a “Sexy Communist”, but Russell wants us all to know that he still keeps the red flag flying here. A tricky proposition for old Rus’, can you be a died in the wool trot’ AND a slave of Mammon? Maybe we’ll find that Russell Brand is less of a sexy communist and more of a vulgar capitalist!

It’s been a busy few weeks for Russell Brand, since his corporate overlords at Rumble central called him to their Florida HQ staff party for his ill-judged photo-op with Donald Trump Jnr , on Feb 25th 2022.

This is intended to be an occasional column dedicated to subjects that Russell Brand is surprisingly quiet about or has discussed in the past but dropped when, for example, the story starts to contradict his narrative. Today, we're talking, or instead not talking, about the opioid epidemic!
